Missionary Updates in the Ward Newsletter, 1963-65

The Bountiful 9th Ward has a strong heritage of missionary service. Already this year, we have had three missionary farewells. The ward birthday committee is in the process of putting together a list of ward missionaries who served fulltime missions over the past seventy years. For the years from 1953 to 1970, we are scouring multiple sources to create as complete of a list as possible. Fortunately, we received a list of fulltime missionaries who served from 1970 to the present from the Church History Library working with the Membership Department. When we feel as though our full list is ready for review, we would appreciate the feedback of ward members to make sure that we haven't missed anyone.

While a list of missionary names including where and when they served will be interesting, the old Ward Newsletter shared reports from the missionary field. These short updates put some flesh on the bones of missionary experiences from 9th Ward missionaries. Here are several entries from January 1963 to December 1965.
