Ninth Ward 13th Anniversary Commemoration, 1966

 

Holy Smokes, I didn't know whether I should share the events of the 13th anniversary of the organization of the ward or not. What a great job they did. But then I remember that God doesn't compare His children one to another, and neither should we. I also thought about all of the hard work this year's committee is doing to put together a wonderful celebration. I won't start naming names or describing what they are doing. The fruits of their efforts will be on display in just under three weeks.

Every ward member has the opportunity to contribute to that evening's fun by creating a poster that introduces themselves to the rest of the ward. Some examples of these posters have been on display in the foyers on Sunday. There will be more examples these next two Sundays.

No matter how we commemorate the event, seventy years since the organization of the Bountiful 9th Ward is something worthy of celebrating. We hope you'll attend and make some new friends or reunite with old ones.
