Bountiful 9th Ward Relief Society Bulletins, Young Women's Newsletter

Sister Meg Mayer handed me these Relief Society bulletins and a Young Women's newsletter from 1988. One of the highlights was the short biographical sketches of the bishopric. I learned some new things about men I've known for over a decade.

The Homemaking Evening Dinner that included guest speaker Lamar Parkin sounded fun. "Brother Parkin will correlate today's newspapers and chronicles with scriptures indicating the signs of the times." It reminded me of a Christian news show that I would watch on occasion in Pennsylvania - Jack Van Impe Presents, though through a Latter-day Saint lens.

The graphics, fonts, hairstyles, clothing, take us back to the late 80s. For those of us who lived through that time, those were good years. Thanks for the blast from the past, Sister Mayer.
