9th Ward Birthday Parties/Reunions

 

The ward held its "first annual Ward Reunion" a year after it was organized. We know that additional ward "birthday" parties have been held since. Rick Baker shared a slide show shared at the 60th anniversary party. 

The 20-year-anniversary for the ward in 1973 was also a grand event.

In a little over a month, we will commemorate the 70th anniversary of the organization of the Bountiful Ninth Ward. Ed and Meg Mayer have spent months organizing what promises to be a fun and memorable celebration and reunion. Glenn Goodrich is leading out in encouraging members to create posters representing themselves. Thus it is fun to learn that at the 20th anniversary, he "mounted the old pictures around the Cultural hall for members to recollect. Pictures of then and now were shown."
