1966 Young Women's Slide

Our wonder duo of Glenn Goodrich and Larry Smith have found another photo from the 9th Ward past. We need your help figuring out what we are looking at. Clearly, it was a significant event where participants dressed up and some of them even wore Laurels in their hair. 1959 was the year that Junior Gleaners were renamed Laurels. Would this have something to do with these young women becoming Laurels? The slide has a date of 1966 on it. Does anyone recognize anyone in this photo? Can you make out the words on the poster? "Wisdom" seems fairly clear. Is the word to the right "Love?"
